Amateur Radio Technician Class

What happens during an emergency when the power is out and cell service is unavailable? Amateur radio can provide another way to communicate and stay connected when conventional systems are disrupted.

Prepare before you need it. The Mathews Amateur Radio Club is offering a free Amateur Radio Technician Class at the Mathews Museum. Participants will learn radio and signal fundamentals, electrical components, antennas, equipment, communication practices, licensing regulations, operating rules, and safety.
