Meet the Author: Bruce Bracken

Bruce Bracken returns to the Mathews Museum on Thursday, September 24 for a Meet the Author program featuring his new mystery, Deceit on Gwynn’s Island.

Following his earlier visit for Death on Gwynn’s Island, Bracken brings readers back to the island for another story shaped by its tides, working boats, traditions, and closely held secrets.

In the new novel, Sheriff Amy Wade and Deputy Jimi Jimenez investigate the death of a lifelong islander. As clues multiply and loyalties begin to fracture, the case grows into a threat to the future of the island itself.
