Bay Quilters Guild Annual Show
Celebrating Local Textile Artistry
The Mathews Museum will host the Bay Quilters Guild Annual Quilt Show at Mathews Market Days, starting Saturday, September 12. The display features work from local quilters and quilt lovers alike.
Both quilters and quilt lovers have contributed to this special display. Visitors can view a wide range of styles, including appliqué, embroidered, and traditional pieced quilts in various sizes, alongside modern creations. Each piece is handcrafted or machine-made with love and creativity.
As part of the exhibit, a member of the Mathews Bay Quilters Guild has donated a patriotic quilt to be raffled off during Market Days. This raffle is offered at no cost exclusively to veterans and surviving dependents of deceased veterans.
Free raffle tickets are limited to one per person. Eligible veterans and dependents may stop by the Museum during open hours to pick up a ticket. The winning ticket will be drawn on Sunday afternoon prior to Market Days closing, and the winner does not need to be present.
